City Administrator Honored for Years of Service
Greg Applegate, Sonora City Administrator will be honored by the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors at their August 17, 2010 meeting for 20 years of dedicated service to the City of Sonora and greater Tuolumne County community. Click here to review his commendation.
Jamestown Mine Property Development Proposal
One of the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisor’s 2010 goals is to “complete a request for proposals (RFP) for alternate uses of the Jamestown Mine site and authorize action on the most beneficial use(s) of the site”. The Board issued an RFP on April 6, 2010 and received two proposals back by the July 26 deadline. The two proposals received were from Gold Rush Gardens, Inc. and Alltech Environmental. Alltech Environmental has since chosen to withdraw their proposal. 2009-10 Grand Jury Report Now Available
The 2009-2010 Grand Jury Report is complete and available for public review. The Grand Jury Report has been broken into sections and is also available in its entirety at the Tuolumne County Grand Jury's webpage. NEW: Responses to the Grand Jury investigations are loaded as they are received.
