Unmet Transit Needs

The Transportation Development Act (TDA) requires the Tuolumne County Transportation Council (TCTC) to conduct a public hearing each year to solicit comments on any unmet transit needs that may exist in Tuolumne County, and to determine if those unmet transit needs are reasonable to be met.  As part of the unmet transit needs process, staff will analyze the comments received at the Hearing as well as any additional written comments received from the public and the Social Services Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) based upon the adopted criteria. The findings are discussed in the annual Unmet Transit Needs Findings Report.  The Unmet Transit Needs Hearing process usually begins in the Fall and the final report is adopted by the TCTC in Spring.  If you would like additional information on the Unmet Transit Needs process, please review the link provided on the right.
